10 Last Day of School Read Alouds

You’ve made it to the last day (or week) of school and you’ve wrapped up units and curriculum and packed up the majority of supplies… so now what? I love pulling out some of my favorite read-alouds for these last few days. It serves two purposes: fills time with few supplies needed AND brings in some sweet, sentimental moments.

Here are some of my favorite last day (or week) of school books:

From the author and illustrator of Our Class is a Family, this touching picture book expresses a teacher’s sentiments and well wishes on the last day of school.

A book with bright, playful illustrations and a charming message that you can deliver to your students from the teacher's perspective. It recalls all the ups, downs, highs, lows, and FUN that your class had together over the school year!

A classic that is silly yet still encourages your kiddos to embrace new adventures and possibilities.
